HEALTHCARE

We help organisations to engage with people.

  • We’re a creative agency, specialising in healthcare digital transformation. We’re problem solvers.

Creating clear and punchy messaging and design, embellished with creativity and oozing with originality. You won’t get what we offer anywhere else.

Whatever is needed (research, oral history studies, stakeholder engagement, design, animation, or video), we know what works. Highly regulated content doesn’t need to be boring!

  • Poor adult literacy directly impacts people’s health. In the UK 7.1 million adults read and write at or below the level of a nine-year-old and 43% of adults do not understand written health information.

Our resources provide reliable easy-to-understand health information for patients and communities, helping people to make better decisions about their health and take an active part in planning their own care. Being armed with greater knowledge can also have a huge impact on how people respond to treatment, recover from illness and manage a long-term condition.

    We use straightforward language.

  • DISABILITY EQUALITY

We help clients to make their products and services accessible to disabled people. Some of the services we offer include Grade 1 or 2 Braille, Easy Read documents, browsealoud screenreader compatibility and subtitled videos.

    TRANSLATION SERVICES

Witam, اًبحرم†, Buna ziua, Dia dhuit, ciao!

Our bank of professional translators and transcribers can translate documents into almost any language. We follow industry good practices and use a second native translator to proofread translations.

Regional Human Rights Awareness

PROJECT TWO

Human rights in healthcare are fundamental principles that ensure every individual has access to necessary medical services, free from discrimination, coercion, or violence. These rights encompass the right to health, which implies that healthcare should not only be available and accessible but also of good quality and respectful of dignity. Upholding human rights in healthcare means safeguarding patients' rights to privacy, informed consent, and autonomy in their treatment choices. An unrelenting commitment to human rights in healthcare is essential for fostering trust and improving health outcomes for all members of society.

Protecting the human rights of people who use our services is crucial to improving; quality of care, quality of life, and safety.

Regional Neonatal Virtual Tours

6

PROJECT SIX

Neonatal units serve a vital purpose in the healthcare system by providing specialised care for premature or critically ill newborns. These units are equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by a team of healthcare professionals trained to address the unique needs of vulnerable infants. The primary goal is to stabilise and monitor these infants, ensuring they receive appropriate treatments and interventions to support their growth and development. Additionally, neonatal units support families during this challenging time, offering guidance, resources, and emotional support as they navigate the complexities of their newborn's health journey.

We worked with colleagues from all Trust areas, the Neonatal Network Northern Ireland, DOH, and the HSCNI Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG) to create virtual tour videos. These videos explain what neonatal units do, introduce the staff, detail how to reach them, showcase the equipment used, and more.

Towards Zero Suicide in Northern Ireland aims to transform the approach to suicide prevention by promoting a culture of hope and recovery. The initiative focuses on creating a system where every individual at risk receives the appropriate support and care, thereby reducing suicide rates to zero. By fostering collaboration among healthcare providers, community organisations, and individuals, the programme emphasises the importance of early intervention, training, and public engagement. Ultimately, it seeks to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health issues and ensure that everyone has access to the necessary resources to thrive.

We worked with colleagues in Northern Health and Social Care Trust and other stakeholders to produce a video based training resource for HSC staff.
